[Announce] Melee at Roswell: July 13-15

Greetings all,

Just a reminder that the marche of Alderford's Melee at Roswell event will 
take place July 13-15 at BA Primitive Weapons Club in Roswell, Ohio 
(Tuscarawas County). We'll be having woods battles, authorizations (one of 
the last chances before Pennsic!) and a great barbeque! Family-friendly rates 
too!

Site opens 2:00 pm on Friday
Closes at 12:00 noon on Sunday

Join members of the Marche of Alderford as they host "discussions" between 
Their Excellencies of Brendoken and the Middle Marches. 

Enjoy a “family-friendly” weekend of camping filled with various tournaments 
and activities:

*Heavy & light woods battles
*Authorizations (one of your last chances before Pennsic!)
*Archery, including woods walk
*Classes
*Nature walk with Ceit
*Bardic circle

After you've had your fill of the day's activities, enjoy a family style 
cookout with Brendoken and Middle Marches and bardic activities well into the 
night.

Adult (member)13 and older:
Friday Check-In: $11.00
Saturday Check-In: $8.00
Children 12 and under free.
Family Cap $36.00 with minor children 
Non-Members pay $3.00 surcharge

Merchants welcome! Merchant pre-registration includes one free site fee!

Site Information:

The site is wet.

Showers are available--you may want to bring a shower bag. However, water on 
site is limited to what is brought in by tanker and non-potable. 
Please bring any drinking and or cooking water that you may need. 
Pit fires are allowed; pets are permitted.
Lunch will be available for an additional fee.
Site is partially handicapped accessible

Baronial Cookout/Potluck
In lieu of a traditional feast, Alderford will be hosting a informal Baronial 
Cookout/Potluck. Hamburgers, hot dogs, buns and toppings will be provided. We 
ask all those gentles interested in joining us, please bring a dish to pass 
that serves 8-10. Please choose your dish based on your mundane last name:
A-H: Desserts
I-P: Salads
Q-Z: Sides

Site Directions
Take your best route to I-77, to exit 81 (25 minutes south of Canton); exit 
onto SR 39 EAST. Proceed on 39 into New Philadelphia. 39 veers to the LEFT at 
Y in the road. After the Y, proceed 5 miles to Roswell, Ohio. Turn LEFT on 
Tuscarawas. County. Rd 65 to Days Lane (1/10 mile); turn LEFT again. Road 
dead ends at the site. Signs will be posted.
