Unto all interested gentles;
The Marche of Gwyntarian is going to 16th cen Frankfort this November 10th. While there, we invite all to enter our two A&S competitions. The first is a Calligraphic and Illumination competition. The entry may be of any period and style from the Middle Ages, but must be in the form of a book page (as opposed to a SCA award scroll), Frankfort being known for its book production. Please indicate the time and place of your entry.
The second competition is a garb contest, with the entries from Germany (the Holy Roman Empire) in the 15th and 16th cen. Please include the approximate date of the entry, and a copy of your inspiration. This need not be from a period portrait or picture of a museum exhibit; it can be a drawing from a book, etc. as long as it is dated. The garb may be worn or simply exhibited.
We also intend to hold a number of classes. If you have a class you would like to teach, please contact me, either via e-mail or phone call (all calls before 9:00PM please). Classes should be able to be taught within a 1 hour block (exceptions will be considered), and be inside classes (it is going to be November, after all). Classes need not be within the theme of the event.
Thank you all for your time;
THL Ancel fitzCharles, MOAS Marche of Gwyntarian
