Actually the Kingdom Law sates that a group MUST poll after 5 years. There
is no specified term limits for a Baron and Baroness though. That couple can
run again. A charter is a set of guidelines for a group, not a set of laws.
The Baronial Charter can't technically be enforced by anyone. (Your
financial charter can, but that's a different discussion)

You all agreed to it, so it's likely a good idea to stick to it, but if you
have a candidate(s) who wants to run for 2 or 4 years that's also possible.

You may want to check your exact wording in your charter anyhow if you're a
candidate for Baron or Baroness- just to be safe and follow your established
traditions.
