[Announce] January 2009 Issue of the Portcullis

Dear Citizens of Brendoken,

Due to forgetfulness because of the holidays, I forgot completely  
about needing to send reminders for the PORTCULLIS issue that is due  
for January 4th, 2009. An added difficulty has been several computer  
failures with extremely bad timing. While my main computer is now  
back among the living, the monitor is blank and not working. I saved  
all my files on an external hard drive which my laptop decided today  
not to let me access. In other words, I don't have the raw data, the  
means, or the template of the newsletter to get an issue of the  
PORTCULLIS prepared, let alone published for this Saturday.

This also means that that the minutes that were sent to me via e-mail  
are lost in limbo. Could the minutes be sent directly to the Baronial  
Web Minister,  Milady Violetta of Gwyntarian, so that they at least  
can be read by the populace (violettasca at gmail.com), as well as  
another copy sent to me?  Thank you.

I apologize for the inconvenience. I will get the issue published and  
sent via snail mail to the groups' seneschals and a pdf version on  
the web site ASAP.

In order to do that, could the new group seneschals of Thistle and  
Alderford, please send me their contact information, as well as all  
the group seneschals and baronial seneschal sending letters for the  
Portcullis. Baronial officers, please send me any information you  
would like published in the January 2009 issue.

As always, the Portcullis would appreciate any articles, reports on  
events, demos, and revels, or other items of interest that can be  
published.
