Greetings computer savvy people,
The Midrealm is currently working to improve our Kingdom website. The new
website will use a content management system. I have asked to develop a web
pages for Northern Oaken. So now I'm beginning a search for a regional web
deputy. If you think you are interested please contact me.
I'm looking for someone that fits the following criteria:
1) Can and will respond to email and/or phone calls within 48 hours.
2) Can and will make web page updates within 48 hours of the request (time
allowances will be made for larger projects).
3) Must be computer literate and they must be able to use a content
management system.
4) Can and will follow the set layout without deviation, refrain from adding
personal touches, and will verify with the Kingdom Webminister before making
drastic changes.
5) Will not sell/or give freely advertising space (SCA or modern) on the
regional web page or link non SCA websites to the regional web page.
6) Can and will act as a liaison between local Webministers and the Kingdom
Webminister.
7) Must make themselves familiar with SCA web publishing policies.
8) Can and will complete and turn in reports on time.
9) Understand that they report to their Regional Seneschal, the Kingdom
Webminister, and the Kingdom Chronicler. The Kingdom Seneschal and the
Media Relations Deputy reserve the right to edit the content of the web
pages via the Regional Seneschal, the Kingdom Webminister, or the Kingdom
Chronicler. Instructions may also come from the New Groups Deputy and the
Groups Transitions Deputy via the Regional Seneschal.
10) Understand that while this is a volunteer position timely reporting and
updates are required. Anyone not able to fulfill these requirements need
not apply.
11) Must like hanging out with me at Great Lakes Brewing Company to have
"Web meetings". (Ok, that's not an official requirement, but it makes the
job more fun.)
If you have any questions please let me know.
Baron Stephan Von Lübeck
N. Oaken Regional Seneschal
